Boo...RAIN?

So, i was too busy to post Monday or Tuesday, and when i have a bit of time today, the weather stinks. Go figure...My sister in law told me this morning in an email that the days are going to start getting shorter soon, which makes me even more sad that this summer is passing by with a lot of bad weather.

On a different note, Adam and i had a really good weekend. We hung out with some of our friends that Adam went to HS with on Friday, and went to a piano bar and had dinner. Saturday, we went to my co workers barbecue which was a lot of fun. However, we were the only couple there that didn't have kids. It was kind of fun seeing Adam with a bunch of guys with kids. Planting seeds in his head slowly :) The babies there were between the ages of 4 weeks to 7 years. It was cute seeing them all run around, but reminded me of how much freedom we have not having kids yet. We did bring our dogs, which everyone said how nice it was that we could just put them in their kennel and not worry about them. You can't do that with kids. All of the parents were cutting grapes in half for them, and making sure they didn't stuff too much hot dog in their mouths and not choke. It was pretty amusing! Finally when all was said and done, some of the parents put their kids in multiple bedrooms to sleep and the parents came out to play. Needless to say, we didn't leave until about 3 in the morning. I can't remember the last time i had such a late night.

Sunday was Adam's dad's birthday party/fathers day party. We had Salmon on the grill and cheesecake for dessert. Need i say more :)

The week is now 1/2 way over, which is always a relief. My boss called from Hawaii where she is on vacation with her husband, and informed me that her husband shot a hole in one from about a 185 yard hole, had a couples massage on the beach, and were renewing their vows last night. What a vacation...i think i need one :)
