ULTRASOUND! And More Pictures

We had our 20 week ultrasound today which went really well. The baby wasn't moving around very much, and was curled up in a little ball for a while. She propped me on a few different sides and finally we saw the baby stretch it's little legs out. Here are some pictures of the ultrasound. Most of them are profile pictures and a few you can see the little hand come toward the mouth. It kept sucking on it's hand and taking it out, and then opening it's mouth and sucking on its hand again....SO FUN.

1st one...mouth open, hand down.

This picture was taken today...or tonight, while Joey and Adam were busy laying the floor. There is a bit more of a baby bump now vs a few weeks ago. Still not much, but for 20 weeks there is something there!Here is a picture of the floor in the entryway that Adam and i laid a few weekends ago. Looks good huh?This is the new piece of furniture we bought for 70% off at World Market... I LOVE IT!We found this sofa table which replaced our old one for $25 on craigslist. I am OBSESSED!Here is the paint that Adam did in the living room and the red is the wall between the kitchen and living room. There needed to be some color in our house!
Here is one of the projects at hand. I know i have blogged about this...no mirror for about 2 months, and the bathroom tile has been taken off of the walls. As soon as the guest bedroom and babies room are finished i know this will be next in line...i was getting my hair cut yesterday and it was weird to look at myself in the mirror for the 15 minutes i was in front of it while cutting. How funny is that!

20 weeks

***I was going to post this on Wednesday with a picture of me, however our camera died and i decided i would post today anyways. I will post pictures soon :)***

I can't believe it has already been 20 weeks since i have been pregnant! Time has just gone by so fast! Adam and i have been so busy trying to accomplish so much around the house. I feel like once these last projects that we are working on are complete, that everything in our house will finally be "home." Our house has been in shambles, but slowly, room by room things are finally coming together. Last weekend we drove to Eagan and purchased all new interior doors and trim for the house. We also purchased a bathroom counter top to go on the vanity that we had found on Craigslist a while back. Sunday we found two dressers for the guest bedroom and a new sofa table for the living room on Craigslist, and Adam drove all around town to pick them up. Thank you to my parents who let us borrow their car to pick that up Sunday, and thanks to our neighbors Bruce and Lisa for letting us borrow their truck Saturday to pick up all of the doors and such in Eagan. Finally...Thanks to my amazing husband for running all over Minnesota to pick up all of these things, for painting and not complaining, and for putting up with my stressed out self, who has been the drill Sargent pretty much for the last month.


I really feel great at this point, and am finally looking a bit "pregnant." At times i have to remind myself that i am pregnant, because i don't feel nor really look it.


On a final note, i am glad that the Reberg and Antonello babies are home and doing well, and glad that little Addison Sorbel is finally home from the hospital. We will continue to pray for her to keep on the up and up. LOVE YOU!

It's about time...GOOD NEWS!!!

It has been far too long since my last post, but there has been so much going on at home. We have pretty much rearranged our entire house trying to start/finish projects, and i have just had no time to update.

I have GREAT NEWS to post. Not just one baby was born today, but two babies were born today.

Angel and Joe Antonello had their baby boy, Silas Jon this morning at 7:36 am. He was 8 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches.

Lisa and Ben Reberg had their baby girl, Emma Grace this morning at 9:01 am. She was 8 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches.

Such exciting news for both families. I CAN'T WAIT to visit them and see the new additions!

Good job guys! I am sure that Silas and Emma are so beautiful, and they have the bestest parents ever!!!

Massage...mmmmmmm

My massage was AMAZING yesterday. I was like putty in her hands. 1 hour focused just on my back and neck. I have another tomorrow, and then TWO next week. So peaceful and nice. The only bummer was that when i was flipped on my stomach, my nose ran the ENTIRE time. What a sight to see runny nose congested Ana, getting a massage. Thankfully the headrest thing had protection that absorbed my runnyness, and it was slightly dark in there, so the woman didn't notice....ICK!!

Sick...

Adam was sick on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of last week, feeling better on Saturday. Saturday, i woke up and was sick...go figure. I think i was at my worst point yesterday, and am feeling a bit better today. It was horrible to buy him all of this cold medicine on Thursday, trying to make him feel better, and then feel so gross all weekend knowing i couldn't take any of it! On top of it all, being sick has made me feel achy, so now i can't tell car accident achy from sick achy. I have appointments for the chiropractor 3 times a week. I had my first yesterday, where they did some brief therapy and then the adjustment. As good as the adjustments feel, its still kind of like the dentist to me. The odd positioning they put you in, and then the forcefulness of trying to crack your joints is just so spine tingling. The moment after the cracks, there is a great sense of relief, and that is what matters most. Today and Thursday i have adjustments and then 1 hour massages both days. I am anxious to see if they are actually nice massages, or if they are like muscle digging massages...i will have to update after today. Also, i am remembering what a pain in the behind it is to go through all of the claims processes after an accident. I think i have called everyone i need to call regarding the accident, and filled out all of the forms i need to fill out. I just found out that my Mazda body shop is a State Farm provider (State Farm is the insurance of the guy who hit me) so thankfully i can just take my car in to the body shop, get a rental and have my car fixed in one trip. Initially they told me they weren't a preferred vendor, so i thought i was going to have to take my car to their vendor to get an estimate, before bringing it to my body shop to be fixed. What a process...thankfully it will just be one trip. I will be glad when all of the chiropractic, car, claims appointments are DONE! Friday we have my cousins state dance competition at the Target Center. I am really excited to see her dance! She is a co captain for the Burnsville Blazettes and this is her senior year, so could be the last time she competes (i remember how that feels). Saturday i have some valentines surprises for Adam! The whole day planned for him... i will fill in the details after the weekend. Besides that, things have been progressing around the house withe projects slowly but surely. Last weekend was a bit of a damper being we both were feeling under the weather (me more then him).

14 Weeks - Car Accident

Not the greatest picture, but here i am...nothing much yet, but still exciting! Clothes have started to fit tighter, and i can definitely tell a difference, however you can't see much. It kind of looks like i am just bloated! 15 weeks on Sunday already.

Yesterday morning on my way into work i was in a car accident. I was rear ended by a driver while i was stopped in rush hour traffic on 494. I was jolted and definitely didn't see the driver coming. I went to the doctor afterwards to have the baby checked out. All was fine, and it's heartbeat was 150 beats per minute. This was such a relief! Throughout the day i could feel my back and neck tensing up and had a horrible headache. I came home last night and tried to relax. When i woke up this morning i could barely move my head and was very sore. I worked from home and went to the chiropractor at 2. He expressed his thoughts on how my spine was "out of whack," and adjusted me. I am going to go back for the next 3 weeks 3 times a week and meet with him along with the massage therapist (which i won't complain about). He told me that it is best to get as much work done now before i start gaining a lot of pregnancy weight, which could cause additional stress on my spine.

After all is said and done it could have been a lot worse. I feel ok, and the baby is fine which is most important. My car looks fine...especially compared to his! Adam and i are going to take it in this weekend to get checked.

Pray for a quick recovery, and no more back pain!
